With its diverse and extremely valuable supplementary programme, CONTROL will once again emphasise its internationally leading role from the 3th through the 6th of May, 2011. Concentrated practical subject matter organised by the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance covering vision systems and image processing deserves mention in this respect, as does the complementary event forum offered by the IPA Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation. In addition to this, the internationally recognised, world-class expert seminars will be held again as well, and numerous exhibitors will present their companies at the exhibitor forum which is booked out on a regular basis. The so-called Theme Parks were added to the trade fair programme in 2009, and are dedicated to especially up-to-date industry issues under the direction of renowned institutes and research facilities, thus offering a look beyond one’s own horizons. Theme Parks in 2010 will include “Microsystems Technology” as well as “Training and Research”. An independent “Applications Park” will present the entire production sequence with regard to quality assurance at CONTROL 2011. |
